So who am I?
Hey there, I'm Kat, a 17 year old media enthusiast from Worthing, West Sussex.
I fell in love with media from an early age, like any kid would, from cartoons on TV, classic Disney movies and early mobile games, or graphic novels. Except I loved it more than any kid. I was always watching something, playing something, reading, drawing, or writing. Anything I could do to immerse myself in creativity, I did.
Then, in 2014, my parents got me my first console, the Xbox 360. It was with this that I realised how much I love games, didn't matter if they were platformers, survival, horror, creative, action, FPS or story driven, I loved them all. Eventually I became a PlayStation fanatic, and I continue to play, now on the PS5. But I'll always hold a special place for the Xbox 360, for teaching me to love games the way I do.
And now, fast forward to 2025, I've finished high school, and now I'm turning my attention to what the future holds, I am working towards a career in Entertainment Journalism, reporting on everything that I love and putting my opinion out there for people to read, or watch...

Why do I want to do this?
The simple answer would be that I love it. But to be completely honest, I love the feelings that different films, shows and games give me. Like the classic horrors, the Resident Evils, Silent Hills, The Grudge, Poltergeist, that scared me beyond belief. The nostalgic adventures I had watching films from my dad's childhood, like the Goonies, Back to the Future or Terminator and Aliens. Playing through Link to the Past, and then seeing it evolve into Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Or experiencing anything new, with state of the art graphics and award winning graphics, and getting to relive the feeling of falling in love with gaming all over again because it has a fresh coat of paint. And I want to experience all of this, and share it with the rest of the world, and combine my love for watching movies, shows, playing games, and writing to produce my own take on everything, in an authentic way. ...
